A shark package for Puig is a great deal. It allows the sox to legitimately contend for a playoff spot and improve the teams offense for a number of years. The best thing I think would be to keep shark and trade for CarGo or Puig. The problem with standing pat is that we justhave way to many holes to make a legitimate run at the playoffs. We need a bat and really our best options are CarGo and Puig. We need to make things happen this bc we really have a shot. Next year we will be a worse team unless we resign Shark and add two or three bats. We have a shot this year and really need to take advantage of that

I love all the talk about our f***ed up front office but I'll return to the topic. At this point in time I would not trade Shark unless somehow you could package him for Bautista, Puig, or CarGo. This is just my opinion.

I've seen a number of places that Hoffman, Pentecost, and Norris will not be in the deal. Toronto got a steal in my opinion. Only issue will be Tulos health playing on the turf. CarGo is on fire right now I'd love to get him, just have no faith in RH or KW to get it done.
