It is obvious he does care, i believe hes just managing a game that has evolved and hes not acknowledging that. He coached that exactly how i expect a 90's, 2000's coach to do it.
The "i wish Larussa would die" comment got some attention outside soxtalk. Just a bad look. We get heated in game threads but use some common sense. If you wish someone would die for baseball decisions you need to reevaluate who you are and get some help. Thank you for making this thread.
It didn't look like it could have been caught. Regardless you can't fault an outfielder for not being able to rob a home run as its pretty rare and difficult to do.
Its 6am and i just read the Larussa comments about last night. He is going to lose the respect of his clubhouse with these comments and gaffs.. You don't make these mistakes in 2021 as a manager of a world series contender. That locker room and us fans deserve better than what we saw last night.
