  1. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 24, 2016 -> 09:20 PM) Royals play 3 in Anaheim and 3 in Seattle this week, and they are done with the west coast for the regular season. It feels like they have the easiest schedule in the game

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 08:09 PM) The big difference is that Rick Hahn is being paid to improve the team. He is supposed to be stressed out about doing something. None of us fall into that category. But hey, don't let me stop the Misery crowd from hobbling themselves as the Sox biggest fans. Who here wrote that fans discussion the negative aspects of the team are the biggest fans? Post source from this thread. No negative posters here are telling people what and how to post. The only people who are doing so are you and DA. Its old. This is a Sox discussion board where we discuss the Sox in detail. Yes, that includes scuffling players. Discussing internal and external options for Avi is not "being miserable". Get off your high horse and put aside your "holier than thou" attitude.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 06:54 PM) I just think it is a crappy way to watch baseball. Everyone is going to struggle. I don't know why you wouldn't look at the positives. If someone told you 18 games into the season Abreu and Frazier combined would be under .200, as would 3 other regulars, there is probably no way you anyone would possibly think they could be 12-6. They have been able to overcome it and win games. I am one person who is beyond thrilled because I know there is no way Abreu suddenly will never hit again or Frazier is a .200 hitter. I know Austin Jackson isn't a .160 hitter and Navarro is better than .100. I even know Avi isn't a .130 hitter. Avi if this keeps up will be replaced. Adam LaRoche was penciled in to be the DH against RHP. Tldr: why don't people watch baseball like me?? :(
  4. QUOTE (hi8is @ Apr 17, 2016 -> 10:40 PM) First time all year we've lost two in a row. It's April. We're on the road. Step away from the ledge. What is wrong about voicing concerns?
  5. QUOTE (hi8is @ Apr 16, 2016 -> 11:30 PM) Good thing we didn't sign him... So far. Nationals dodged a bullet by not extending him
  6. Moore came off a good game against the Indians, hopefully we get to him early
  7. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 17, 2016 -> 06:23 AM) Despite the team being 8-3 it is pretty obvious they are no more, than a 65-70 win team. Just from what I hav read here, there are a lot of problems. Eaton, Lawrie clubhouse cancers Avila, Fraizer, Cabrera, Rollins washed up The league has figured out Abreu Avi is one of the worst players in baseball Jerry Sands serves no purpose They have Danks in the rotation and Petricka, Duke, Putnam in the bullpen You know it is just a matter of time with Latos Even Chris Sale is too much of a hot head and should go away. Finally they are managed by a stooge. 8-3 with 9 games in the road is OK, but despite all these horrible players and manager and coaches, it clearly should be better. The fans deserve better. The only one overreacting in this thread is you
  8. Just watched the game You guys are giving Danks way too much flak. Yes he gave up 5 (1 should go to Petricka) but you aren't going to win if you can't score. I don't have enough fingers to count the amount of first pitch swinging outs on 91mph fastballs down the middle we had. Most of our hitters were down 0-1, 0-2, and 1-2 ALL GAME. Yes Danks sucks, but the approach from the offense was terrible tonight. edit: Frazier needs to get going
  9. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 15, 2016 -> 08:38 PM) I didn't watch the whole game, but it seemed like Chris almost pitched to contact tonight. Not a ton of deep counts so he was able to keep his pitches down. His job was simple tonight: go deep because Danks is going tomorrow
  10. She is going to get quite a large check from the Rays, no way she should have been hit
  11. WHY ARE THEY SHOWING THE POOR WOMAN ON TV?
  12. anyone else hearing an on the field conversation through the broadcast? Or am I hearing voices?
  13. the offense will get it going once Frazier does hoping that happens soon
  14. well.... good thing we didnt pitch Danks tonight
  15. good job making up for that s*** show earlier!!!
  16. kepler looks like their version of sands
  17. Can we end the Sands experiment? That was the worst AB of the season..
