  1. I ran my location idea by my better half and she said..."YOU MEAN THAT SUPERFUND SITE?!!" "Somebody's got to clean it up and the land will be cheap" She walked away but only after agreeing that Arlington Heights was a bad idea too.
  2. Yeah I did think of the pedestrian issue after I posted so I understand your point. Just spitballing.
  3. Yep they lived close to downtown so that must've been it.
  4. We had friends who lived in Arlington Heights and honestly every time we drove to see them it was a nightmare, so I think it would suck
  5. How about that huge plot of land just off I55 at the Damen Ave exit in the McKinley Park neighborhood? Point it in the right direction and you'd have a great view of the skyline. Could build a nice complex with parking for a great tailgate experience and that location would work for the logistics of Sox fans much better than Arlington Heights imo. Biggest downfall is lack of public transportation. Sox could easily run shuttles to and from the Orange line though.

Will we see him in Chicago next year or should I ask...Should we see him in Chicago next season?
  7. If noone is in the Gamethread, did the White Sox still win?
  8. I can't remember anyone who takes more 3rd strikes than Yoan Moncada
  9. Pedro with a dinner date giving the 3-0 Greenlight to Thompson?
  10. He got the first 2 out today and I thought that this guy is not hard to root for, then I realized it was probably the 2nd beer that was talking
  11. Why does it feel like everytime I watch these days it is Shaw pitching, and Lambert warming up?
  12. Nice to see Sosa taking advantage of his shot this time up....hope it translates to success next season.
  13. Especially in a meaningless game with a score that basically meant the game was over by 8:00.
  14. My wife just said "it happened during the game and Benetti didn't say anything about it?!?" I told her it wasn't anything important like busting some kids running in the upper deck or someone with too big of a bag of popcorn, so he let it slide.
  15. I don't see these clowns winning a dozen more games. 2 nights in a row getting their asses kicked by Oakland. This team has quit. I cannot imagine bringing back a manager of a team that has totally given up. Next season he will somehow become a great communicator and motivator?
  16. Just checked the box score and see Cease gave up 5 in the 2nd inning, but at least no home runs.
  17. Oakland with 9 hits, only 4 of which have stayed in the yard. And Robert took away a home run.
  18. Way to go, Jason
  19. Why are you looking back, Oscar? Just run.
