Especially in a meaningless game with a score that basically meant the game was over by 8:00.

My wife just said "it happened during the game and Benetti didn't say anything about it?!?" I told her it wasn't anything important like busting some kids running in the upper deck or someone with too big of a bag of popcorn, so he let it slide.

I don't see these clowns winning a dozen more games. 2 nights in a row getting their asses kicked by Oakland. This team has quit. I cannot imagine bringing back a manager of a team that has totally given up. Next season he will somehow become a great communicator and motivator?

Just checked the box score and see Cease gave up 5 in the 2nd inning, but at least no home runs.
