If they were to get swept by Cleveland, the Sox would be back to .500. I wonder if this team is destined to finish 81-81.....and 1 game out of the playoffs??

I'm not going to complain about what amounts to a "no brainer" move. I would put Cueto in that same category and that obviously worked out great. If it doesn't work, you move on.....after Elvis night of course.

Yep, well I guess they do not look into Seattle's penchant for choking at the end of seasons. We have seen what our Sox have done with a weak schedule.

FanGraphs has our Sox odds at making the playoffs 43% They have Seattle at 90%....wow that is high for a team with only a 1 game lead in the wildcard.

This is just one you've got to try to forget. But damn as a whole this offense looked like shit in this series. Very lucky to get a split. The pitching is good enough to get them to first in the division or to the wild card, but this offense is so bad they might not get there.
