It was tied then I went to work in the yard....I knew I shoulda just let the grass grow.4-4 record in the last 8 games might be the best stretch of baseball by the White Sox in the last 2 years....a bit sad but probably true.What a beautiful sentiment!!! I am visiting friends in NC for my bday next month but they are on the east side of the state. I just wait for the inevitable on these West Coast games.How many times have I gone to bed with the Sox in the lead on the West Coast just to wake up to a loss? Unfortunately probably less times than my staying up to watch the loss. I said it when they hired him that I was happy when they fired him the first time and will be happy when he is gone from the dugout again.....but I did not think the team would fall off a cliff like they did. That .500 season under LaRussa feels like a fever dream.Maybe one day these bums will do the impossible and actually win a game that goes a whole 9 innings. How about tonight ya friggin losers??
