Not sure it matters who they play on Tuesday. They are playing awful baseball and if they happen to win 1 of the first 2, the cluster fuck that will be the pitching situation for game 3 should be a disaster. I'm excited for playoff Sox baseball but I expect nothing.

I just don't see how they can risk letting Cease start game 3 after that steaming pile Friday. Long story why but I watched that Friday game on the Cub feed and I think they said coming into that game, the Cubs had hit 17 home runs in all of September. And then Cease gave up how many long balls to them?

I would like them to have tried letting Foster open a game to let him get a feel for it, but I doubt they would try that for the first time in the playoffs.

Missed this game tonight and glad I did. Checked the score then came to the game thread to find innumerable Fire/F@#$ Ricky posts. Gotta get right and quick or these long awaited playoffs are gonna be a quick exit. Hopefully the Cubbies are the medicine to get the team right.
