I have been very optimistic but you can’t read those articles and not say that it seems like they have no idea on how they are going to pivot after Wheeler. They always temper expectations through the media. The narrative has been “the Sox are trying to spend! They are a team to watch. They want to compete!” And here come the White Sox with their pushback.
All I’m saying is when the Sox want a narrative out there, they use the usual writers to push it.
I hope I’m wrong. But seeing these guys beat the same drum gives me that impression.
Such a random twitter interaction lol. But I think it’s a cultural thing. Last year Hector Gomez sent me a random picture of his family. “This is my family”. Out of the blue haha
Ok guys, this Frank Castillo guy DM me out of the blue again. Said that he trusts his source. Said he is very close to Marcell Ozuna. Also said that Marcell Ozuna arrived early this morning and has the intention of signing with the Sox. He then gave me his phone number if I had any more questions lol
I guess the no urgency thing is the thing that annoys me. So it Kuechel; ozuna , Ryu, Castellanos all fall off the board that no urgency quote will bite Hahn in the butt
Something along the lines of “we are committed to hit on our targets whether it be now or next week. We are currently doing what we can” or something. “No urgency” is stupid when the market is moving at a lightning pace and your targets keep falling off the board.
