Ryu is coming off of a 2nd place Cy Young finish and has almost the same amount of time injured as Wheeler.

I would have liked Miley as the lesser of the two pitchers we supposedly are trying to sign.

Another one bites the dust

For those up in arms about my field of dreams joke, it was just that, a joke. I like Nicky a lot and I didn’t even send it to him directly. Also, as the Sox are currently constructed (mid December) a scenario where Judge and Delmonico playing the OF and Covey and Cole starting is just a couple of injuries away. Also it is more of a joke based on an article that WSD wrote when they announced this game. He said this game proves the White Sox are done messing around. And the field of dreams proves that. It’s all in good fun! I love the White Sox more than you can ever know. I’ve cheered them when they didn’t deserve it and I sure as heck can heckle them when they deserve it

The sad part is that they did a good job at the beginning. Committing to an actual rebuild. Collecting a mass of talent. Signing Luis Robert to a big international contract.Trading with the Cubs. All of this pointed to change on the horizon. Now it seems like they have jumped ship or Jerry realized that they are making even more money now so let’s keep it that way.

Fegan’s latest article makes multiple references to 2021 now being Hahn’s target year. What a joke. They will stand pat and bring in crap like last year. Inexcusable. The fact that they have paid Colome and Herrera for these past two seasons is ridiculous! “Multiple Championships”, yeah right. Better win 3 World Series in a row because after this year 3 more years until they make an excuse to not extend Moncada and Gio

If you aren’t going to improve pitching, might as well go and make the best lineup possible. Imagine how many Runs this lineup produces: Robert -CF Moncada-3rd Abreu- 1B Encarnacion-DH Eloy-LF Grandal- C Anderson - SS Mazara- RF Madrigal- 2B ??????

This is the week where I think most free agents will sign. Right before Christmas. Boras hinted at more signings as well. Also, most players who held out got bad deals last year. Let’s hope the Sox situation becomes clearer this week.

Sad but I am honestly at that point. I have little hope that they will pony up for Kuechel or Ryu. Just don’t give me freaking Dylan Covey

At least the market is moving quickly. We don’t have to speculate for much longer. We will know whether or not they are serious about contending soon. If they don’t land a good pitcher, I will lose it guys

I would be shocked if the Sox land either Ryu or Kuechel. Hahn is going to have to get creative

This lowers David Price’s price in my opinion. Probably helps with Kuechel and Ryu’s contract for interested teams. If MadBum gets 5/85 with 15 mil differed I can’t see Price being too expensive to trade for

17 million or so a year is nothing

Ryu and Kuechel left for the Twins, Angels, Dodgers, Cardinals, White Sox and probably more that I am missing

The Diamondbacks getting Bum hurts the Sox. Diamondbacks were an off the radar team in the pitching market. Same amount of suitors to compete with left, one less option now.
