- Keuchel to Sox, 3 years, 55.55 million; 4th year team option
This is awesome. I owe the FO an apology. They are busting all types of myths and actually trying. I can’t wait to see what’s next!- Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
I think now we know FOR SURE that the Sox won’t get any of those pitchers. The Kinander kiss of death- Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
If we know anything, it’s that Merkin usually pushes what the Sox FO wants him to. He rarely goes out on a limb. If he says it, it’s because that’s the message they want out.- Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
I think we know where this is going- Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
From Merkin’s latest: Dallas Keuchel and Hyun-Jin Ryu are two front-end starters still available, and the White Sox also could pursue an addition via trade. But the White Sox, in their move from rebuild to the first year of potential contention, might not want to make the same sort of long-term commitment at albeit a lower price point with these hurlers as they were ready to do with Wheeler. There is help within the system behind the current starters. Michael Kopech, who had Tommy John surgery in September 2018, figures to start the season at Triple-A Charlotte as the White Sox work him back gradually. He should be back in the Majors by May, while Carlos Rodón and Dane Dunning both are expected back in-season following recovery from Tommy John surgery.- Successful Plan B; What’s Next?

I peeped his account before he deleted it. He tweeted at Heyman that Kuechel has signed with the Sox but is out of the country and will take his physical when he gets back. This was a week old- Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
I wonder why the dude that DMd Dave deleted his account lol. Either he really has a source and is scared to be found out or he is full of it and is scared to be called out.- Successful Plan B; What’s Next?

- Eno Sarris Biggest Remaining MLB Needs And How To Fill Them - CWS
This position sucks but it's where we are. I want this team to improve in 2020. I don't care about Jerry's money, or hoarding prospects (willing to trade them in the RIGHT deal). Priority one is not wasting Moncada and Giolito in my opinion. The Rangers balked at adding Mazarra to a Sale trade, now look. Wouldn't trade Madrigal or Vaughn for Price but for someone like Snell ? All day.- Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
Nope- Eno Sarris Biggest Remaining MLB Needs And How To Fill Them - CWS
It seems like everyone has a problem with every option out there. Lets recap: Kuechel- Not good, not worth the money Price- Expensive, not good Ryu- Injury prone, no thanks Trading prospects for someone better? No way! You have to hold on to Madrigal AND Vaughn All aboard the Covey train, i guess- Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
It's White Sox Wednesday, here's hoping we get an announcement of a nice signing at 11am central time. I need another Grandal moment (I know that wasn't a Wednesday)- Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
Such a random thing to tweet out of the blue. Indirect message to Encarnacion?- Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
Wasn’t the Blue Jays one a Rp?- Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
I feel like when it comes to Boras, the Sox will bow out early if he tries to goad them into a war with the Twins. They don't seem to play Boras' game.- Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
An agent’s dream. Division rivals with a shot at competing bidding against each other.- Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
With Yaz and Nomar Mazara in tow, from your perspective, what do you think still absolutely needs to be done to truly call this a “successful” offseason? Do you think the Sox FO would consider it “successful” at something less than whatever your answer may be? -- Bobby, Charlotte, NC, @BCurley3 Two starting pitchers, a right-handed-hitting designated hitter or right fielder and a reliever or two. The White Sox will hit that target, although they won’t force bigger contract signings if they don’t believe in a longer-term fit. Is a trade or a free-agent signing more likely to acquire pitching? -- Roger, Charlotte, NC, @Soxsupporter1 The White Sox want two starters to supplement their rotation, so both avenues are possible, if not likely.- Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
I felt exactly the same way. But now? I hope we sign Kuechel. Times have changed.- Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
I remember when Kuechel was a "meh" option about a month ago. Now if the Sox sign him, everyone will be pleased. Sox should capitalize on this.- Delmonico is not yet done
