If this rumor would have come up last week, I would have dismissed it. Now? I believe they might just sign him. Now that weird tweet Heyman put out about the Sox “not trading McCann and playing him at DH” is making sense with the Encarnacion and Castellanos rumors.

Dave received a dm that the Sox signed Kuechel. He posted it as a joke. The guy in the dm said “please keep me anonymous so my friend and I don’t get in trouble” when Dave posted the DM screenshot, the guys name was on it. Everyone told him that wasn’t right so he deleted it. He didn’t actually know anything.

Clinton Cole does a good job at Future Sox. So does the rest of the guys who write there. Y2Jimmy seems to be the only one that doesn’t play insider. They are like 0-5 on breaking MLB news.

I’m just curious at what a false alarm can be? He tweeted that Edwin was a White Sox player. Then he tweeted that it was a false alarm. Did his source say “guess what we signed Edwin!” And then follow up with a text that said “just kidding”
