  1. Glad to see that they weren’t hiding a bigger issue with EE
  2. Guys lay off the italics guy. We all know that everyone comes to this site looking for his analysis and responses. I for one, run to every post and search and search for his thoughts. Once I see italics, I know that I have found the gold mine.
  3. Keuchel is keeping Tim busy out there. Just like advertised.
  4. Shocked that there is no game thread for Keuchle's first action. So far Keuchle has surrendered a run, Moncada showed bunt and Tim got tied up ugly for a K
  5. Delmonico getting a long look so far this spring
  6. Found this interesting about the 26th man. In Merkin’s latest inbox: Will there be a real competition between [Zack] Collins and [Yermin] Mercedes for the 26th roster spot? -- Vince, Melrose Park, Ill., @vinnyc52 It won’t just be a competition between Zack Collins and Yermin Mercedes. Veteran non-roster infielders such as Cheslor Cuthbert and Andrew Romine are in play for the final roster spot, as is Seby Zavala, if Chicago decides to go with a third catcher, or Nicky Delmonico, if the team wants another left-handed bat. There’s also a real possibility that the 26th man will be someone the White Sox acquire during Spring Training. With the White Sox lineup set and sturdy, the 26th man will be taking more of a pinch-hitter/part-time role, and I’m not sure the White Sox want Collins to have such infrequent playing time. Mercedes is a viable option, as he possesses big-time power and he is considered a decent receiver behind the plate.
  7. That has never been rumored. Hahn has even said there will be room to add at the deadline. The rumor was they were maxed out for this off season.
  8. Lucas needs to give working with Grandal a shot. It can improve his numbers even more. I would hope a professional like him isn't mentally married to McCann.
  9. But but his number is in the 20s, they are foreshadowing him making the roster /S
  10. “If my agent calls me and tells me there is something, then we’ll consider it,” Moncada said through translator Billy Russo. Moncada changed his agency this year to Movement Management Group. He said he was unaware of ongoing talks between them and the Sox, although it has been assumed for some time that they are happening. Indications are he wasn’t being coy. “Honestly, I don’t pay too much attention to that,” Moncada said. “My focus is just in the game and preparing myself to be in the best position that I can be for the season. Just work hard. That’s my goal right now.”
  11. All I’m saying is that they made no comment during Robert negotiations. But for this one through Fegan they pushed back
  12. They have been very direct this year. For moves in the works, they have simply stayed silent
  13. I am not worried about Moncada's quotes. I am more worried about Fegan saying that White Sox sources have pushed back on the idea that an extension is being discussed.
  14. I feel like these new tweets (the Fegan one in particular) aren't promising. The way the have gone out and squashed a lot of rumors this off season seems like they are almost trying not to get the fans hopes up for false things. Fegan, Merkin and even Bruce have been 100% right about things like this. Ozuna? Squashed directly. Puig? Squashed directly.
  15. This tweet "Sources have pushed back.." is not promising
  16. Would you say this at least indicates that nothing is close?
  17. Who does everyone thinks get the nod as the 26th man? I am really liking Yermin right now. All this guy does is hit.
