Inexcusable throw by madrigal there. Not sure if it was nerves or if he rushed the throw -

Is gio the one booting the ball all over the field? -

Those are the same exact teams that cleveland and minny have been playing and we’re in a tie for first -
Because its all potential.

I think you have to give mazara a chance. We just traded for him. Cant throw in the towel after only 70 plate appearances

Dane Dunning - Expectations now and going forward

Its because his success so far has been a lot of smoke and mirrors. He has a massive discrepancy between his ERA and FIP right now of over 3 runs. Simply put, he just hasnt looked good, but hes been incredibly lucky. His walk rate is up, his k rate is WAY down. He has been lucky in that his babip is incredibly low and his lob% is incredibly high. Once both of those revert to normal, hes going to be giving up a ton of runs. now those are just what his stats say. But also watching him, he just doesnt look impressive. He has no command of any of his pitches and is constantly pitching from behind in the count. Yes, he can throw 98. But he cant control it, and a 98mph heater belt high over the heart of the plate leads to a lot of homeruns, which he gives up every time out. Right now cease is your stereotypical thrower. Hes not a pitcher. as it stands now, cease is no better than a #5 starteR, and only gets that spot in order to get him more reps, not because he deserves it with his performance. If hes starting games in the playoffs, we’re in trouble. -
If he helps you in the playoffs, a ton

Hes exactly the type of pitcher i love. Good to great command of his pitches, all of which move a ton. give me a 92mph fastball that can be located with the sink and run on it that his has any day over a 98mph fastball that a guy throws with poor command (cease) -
Dumb move by the rangers. Lynns trade value plummets with only one year left and being 34 yrs old
-
Lynn is 33 years old, with 1.5 yrs left. While a great pitcher, i dont think the package to get him is going to be as much as most people think
-
Stiever, collins, and rutherford for lance lynn
-
A trade for lynn with stiever/collins as the main pieces makes too much sense
-
Trump loves his cubans. They won him florida
-
Its a little heavy including thompson. Take him out and id have to think hard about it

Ray is a big no for me. I hate pitchers that cant throw strikes -

Velocity was fine but no command and his slider was completely flat. No break at all on it. Dont remember the last time i saw so many hanging sliders in a single inning -
Are all the players wearing 42? Jackie was not only an trailblazer, but imo one of the 5 best second basemen ever along with hornsby, collins, lajoie, and morgan.

This is probably the best stone has ever been in the booth. He seems a lot looser and more off the cuff. Benetti is very solid, but he really needs to get an exciting home run call. His is very low key and doesnt bring in the excitement it should. That and the occasional comedy routine are really my only criticisms of an otherwise great broadcast team

Wonder what lynn would cost. Would really like him as our third starter going forward for the next two years -
Sox playoff chances sit at 100%, 3rd in AL for WS odds

Also, how are the angels so bad??? They were picked by a lot of pundits early on to be a potential wildcard team. -

There should be no expansion of playoff teams until theres expansion to 32 teams
