  1. Nah, this is exactly what JR wanted.
  2. Detroit showing the Sox how to play FAST.
  3. And then Sox promptly get blown out in tomorrow's game
  4. Our justice systems is a problem, but it's not the primary issue here. Generations of poverty, lack of resources, jobs and education, red lining, gentrification all lead to the cycles of brokenness and imprisonment we see in pockets of our country, with neighborhoods on the south and west sides of Chicago being a few of them. You fix those things, you fix the crime problems. And it takes more than politicians to do that, although they do play a role. I apologize if that was too political of a statement.
  5. Still conveniently cutting off the bottom half of the lineup ? let's see what Shewmake and Fletcher can do. If I were any opposing team, I would just pitch around Eloy/Robert and pitch directly to everyone else.
  6. In hindsight I would think that all of us would take Renteria over his 2 successors. Although at the time of his firing, I think a lot of us thought they were going to bring in someone like Hinch. Then JR quickly reminded us how incompetent he is at running baseball teams. I don't think keeping Renteria would have changed much... honestly we'd all probably be here bitching that Jerry is too loyal and he should have had the balls to bring someone else in had they did keep him... but I do sometimes wonder if keeping Ricky could have turned into somewhat of a Cinderella story like Dan Campbell has with the Detroit Lions.
  7. Kopech really knows how to pick em.
  8. Don't you have to have a ticket in the stadium club to try one of these?
  9. I'd love to see a Moncada bunt and a Robert bomb in the 9th inning.
  10. I don't think we've seen a bunt yet have we? It's probably the only chance the Sox have. Swinging is obviously not working. Maybe testing Detroit's infield defense will do the trick.
  11. Glad I was wrong. Thought for sure we were going to see a Maldonado passed ball there.
  12. THat's not a no-doubter Steve, that was borderline.
