He can open for all of em! f*** the arm!

Very easy to correlate individual player performances to the overall performance of the team. Especially when you expected years dominance and got the exact opposite.

I hate to be that guy, but this team has me so conditioned to expect failure. We've been rebuilding since 2013. Going on 11 years. Let the perpetual rebuild continue. Seriously though...this s%*# is sad. Cease, Kopech and Giolito should have been the 3-headed monster of a rotation on a team on top of the world for seasons to come. We were supposed to have a lineup for riddled with all stars, headlined by Tim Anderson, Yoan Moncada, Eloy Jimenez, Luis Robert, Jose Abreu, Yasmani Grandal. I was promised multiple championships. Yet, here we are. Same fucking place we were back in 2017. This scenario should never have needed to happen. Cease is going to be a MONSTER. I fully expect this organization to f*** it up again.

The TLR saga has Jerry's fingerprints all over it. I don't even blame Tony. Why wouldn't he accept the job if Jerry was offering it. That entire fiasco was all Jerry's fault.

I know spring results aren't supposed to be indicative of regular season results but...you have to take some of it into consideration. I mean, they are 1-8 in the last 9 games. The team has to at least feel like what it means to win. I have a feeling this team will barely win 50 games. It will truly be a historically awful season.

Giolito to the Red Sox, 2 years $38.5 million, Y1 opt out

Not to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty sure I came up with that one. I remember the thread and it stuck. Only feather in my cap that I have and I'm proud of it haha. -
I wouldn't say he's getting ready to fold. More like his toddler-like screams for demanding he gets what he wants will only get louder and louder.

Didn't the Bears purchase the land in Arlington Heights already? What the hell was the point of doing that if they aren't committing to building their stadium on it? Unless they are thinking of utilizing the land for something else to make a profit...or was that just wasted money on the part of the Bears. Make it make sense.

I mean honestly, has anyone in management looked at his defensive numbers over the last 2 years? If he can even remotely hit the ball, then it MIGHT make sense, because this roster will need all the offensive help it can get, but if his bat flounders there is no need to keep him on the roster.

The crazy, not-so-surprising thing is, so many people predicted this would happen. Like, it was comical at first, then slowly, it became a sad reality.

It's always such a shame to see a guy with so much potential get his career derailed because he couldn't stay healthy. Too many stories like that in sports. Of course there was always the speculation that Rodon didn't really do enough to condition his body properly in the offseason, but sometimes you just can't control how your body chooses to react to stressful things, no matter how much you try to prepare it.

I...am very much looking forward to seeing Yamamoto pitch and Ohtani hit lol.

In that division, they'll finish last and I don't think it will be remotely close. -
Certainly doesn't help his case with the fact that his predecessors were Jose Abreu, Paul Konerko, and Frank Thomas for basically 3 consecutive decades. All southside legends and one 1st ballot hof'er.

Personally I would love it to be the big ass guaranteed rate red arrow pointing down, and then next to it, the faces of Hahn, Kenny, JR, TLR, and Pedro. JR must be front and center though. Like how they usually put the superstars in the middle. Credit where credit is due.

He is such a schmuck. There can't be anyone in that clubhouse taking this clown seriously.

I didn't go to one game last year purely because of the product on the field. If they were a winning club I would probably go to 4-6 games per year. This year I only plan on going to one game, and it's only because I want to celebrate my 30th birthday seeing a ballgame. Actually, I will be seeing the Cubs play in the afternoon against the Braves and the Sox play in the evening against the O's on the same day. I'm more excited to see the visiting teams than I am the Chicago teams lol. And then I might go see a game when the Dodgers are in town, because, well, the Dodgers, but that's all I plan on doing this year in terms of seeing Sox games.

Sox will be last in spring training and regular season standings. I know I know, what a bold prediction.
