Much easier to not watch.

I really, really hope someone has the balls to ask him about what he said.

They've been rebuilding since 2008.

ESPN predicts 120 loss season for the White Sox
Either Jerry doesn't realize how bad it is (in which case he's either completely oblivious to the rest of the league, or too prideful to admit it), or he flat out doesn't care. Either way there is nothing we fans can do about it. When Jerry fired KW and RH last year, he literally said in response to questions about selling the team, that he doesn't play cards so what else would he do other than own the white sox. He won't be selling unless he admits he just cannot run a baseball team anymore, and gets over his stubbornness. Who knows, maybe this year will do it. If last year was the worst year of his ownership tenure, according to him, then this year would certainly have to beat last year. Until he's out of the picture we'll be forced to be a part of this losing culture...or we jump on another team's bandwagon lol.

Why does being a white sox fan have to be filled with so much pain ?

2024 Gavin Sheets = 2018 Daniel Palka
Sheets should not be in the outfield, nor should Vaughn, nor should Eloy. We still have the problem of too many 1st baseman/DH's. When Eloy comes back, if Sheets is still hitting like he is, it's my opinion that Vaughn should either be benched or sent to AAA to receive the playing time. If Sheets' bat is actually something and this past week is not a fluke, he should be the primary at 1B. He's left handed obviously and taller, which gives an edge over at first base, and the lineup needs left-handed power especially if Eloy is in it (not that he would stay in the lineup very long anyway until his next injury).

4/10 Sox @ Guardians 5:10PM CT
He should be the 1B over Vaughn IMO. He's taller, and lefties usually have a bit of an advantage over the runner at 1st when it comes to pickoffs.

Moncada out 3-6 months, Colás recalled
I don't understand how these injure lists work. If he's going to be out potentially the entire season why is he being put on the 10 day list?

Fan since 1993
This is what blows my mind. They're okay giving money to guys that don't even contribute to wins. So many guys have been dropped from the roster due to underperformance and were still getting paid (Leury, Kuechel, and there's more), or are always injured (Yoan, Robert, Eloy) and still getting paid, or are still on the roster and contributing nothing and still getting paid handsomely (Benintendi, Grandal for a few years, etc). Money could have been spent so much better and wisely.

That’s a 7-5 White Sox Winner!
Blind squirrel, broken clock, etc. They'll be back to scoring zero runs soon enough. But I guess enjoy them when they come. There won't be many.

Sorry to break it to you, but it's very likely none of those guys are going to amount to anything in the league.

What a surprise! Moncada, Eloy and Robert all out injured at the same time. Before the 11th game of the season. Rinse and repeat. Someone really needs to make a documentary out of this failed rebuild. It would be fascinating for all baseball fans if done well... and probably provide closure for us Sox fans.

Worst starts...
They got bad pretty FAST

4/8 Sox @ Cleveland (4:10CT) - Banks vs. McKenzie
Over-under on how many Sox players get injured from the total eclipse.

Luis Robert right hip flexor injury
Burn this organization to the ground. Replant seeds. Start over.

Sox now 1-7, on pace for 20-142 record
Prime in terms of putting a winning product on the field. The 94-08 Sox and 90s Bulls are long gone. There has been nearly zero winning since. That is what I mean by he's long past his prime.

Sox now 1-7, on pace for 20-142 record
Since 2013, our beloved Chicago White Sox have had exactly one full season where the team was above .500--2021. I'm not counting the pandemic year as a real season, none of us were able to enjoy it in person anyway. Let that soak in. 10 years. 2024 will be 11. One. Fucking. Season. And our competition is Detroit, Cleveland, Minnesota and Kansas City. Gag me. So utterly pathetic. I'm going to list the record below so we can all be reminded of how disgusting this organization has been run: 2013: 63-99 2014: 73-89 2015: 76-86 2016: 78-84 2017: 67-95 2018: 62-100 2019: 72-89 2020: 35-25 2021: 93-69 2022: 81-81 2023: 61-101 And 2024 we are starting at 1-9. Probably will be the worst season out of that list. Reinsdorf, it's time to hang it up. You are well past your prime.

Fire Pedro Grifol
He should be fired tonight. I also would like to hear what Getz has to say about all this losing.

4/7 Game thread
Laughing stock of the league, 2 years running.

Gamethread (4/6)
I can officially say I have entered box-score checking mode. Intentionally avoided watching the game tonight. Checked the box score, glad I didn't. Sad to say that this will be 2 straight summers of not watching Southside baseball. But the product is just too pathetic. Idk how some of yall subject yourselves to it for 6 months. I guess I'll start watching again when they bring up Montgomery, Ramos...Zavala and a few others sound intriguing. But there's not nearly enough to think this team will be exciting at all even in the next 5 years. How sad. And the people running the ship have no idea how bad it is, blindfolded by their own ineptitude as they make poor decision after poor decision, and are to cowardly to admit how bad it is/was. If last year was Jerry's worst year as the owner of the Chicago White Sox, I wonder what he'll say about this one. He can't be happy. Maybe he just doesn't care. Or just doesn't get it. Either way, he's completely out of touch, and this team will reflect as much toward the fans and with the product on the field until Jerry is out of the picture.

Getz and Pedro should go. Product on the field is horrible.
This question is asked every year. And somehow, the Sox always show us the answer.

4/5: Chicago Royals @ KC Royals @640 CT - Fedde vs. Singer
Idk Marlins might be worse lol. I'm in Michigan. Lions and Tigers are pretty good right now...
