  1. Well, he didn't play in 2020 because he chose to sit out, didn't play in 2019 due to Tommy John, which happened in late 2018. I'm worried about his ability to last a whole season. I think the hamstring thing will be a recurring issue. I hope i'm wrong.
  2. Do they have to lost all 3? I guess everyone is assuming Jerry won't shell out for either of the other two? Fair assumption, but that sucks!
  3. It doesn't have to be a 1-year fix, thats not what I meant. He would being in a huge haul.
  4. Rodon has had the same issues w/ regard to staying healthy, so I don't think that comparison is as apt as you think. I would have said the same thing about him - now, he's having a stellar season this year (finally), lets see if he can keep it up.
  5. I'd have to study the situation more.
  6. Fans always get attached to their top prospects. It can be hard to let go of a good thing, but in this case the risk would be in keeping him.
  7. I'm thinking about World Series this season, not worried about next season. Sox are a WS contender and another bat will provide a bigger impact than Kopech this season. Idk who - will need to research.
  8. Its really not at all, and the Sox could absolutely use another stud in their lineup. Kopech has become more and more attractive as a trade chip as the season has gone on. I'll be happy to be wrong about this, I just have a bad feeling that this is going to be a recurring thing. The warning signs are there. He has high value now. Pull the trigger.
  9. Why are you doubting the clutch stat? Is it real or not?
  10. Wow, I always felt this but didn't know there was a statistic for it. Thanks Ron. I knew it.
  11. He is real and he is spectacular - when he's on the active roster.
  12. Yeah, its definitely trending in that direction. Give it another 2-3 weeks and I'll say his April was a mirage. He started sooo hot that he has a lot of cushion for his numbers to fall.
  13. I'm just talking about all the "big" situations I can think of lately in his career. I don't know how to capture that in a statisic, its just my feeling.
  14. A lot of the white sox pitchers are almost certainly cheating in the same manner.
  15. Jose is not good under pressure. Just like last year in the A's series - he shrinks in the big situations. Not good for a team leader.
  16. I don't like his inability to stay on the active roster.
  17. Solid performance by Ruiz. Nothing could be done about that double.
  18. And despite that we've split the season series with them so far this year. Many would not believe that based on the reactions here.
  19. Its tough to beat the Indians on the road.. The Sox are the better team but still. Win one of the next two games and return to Chicago to beat up on the Tigers... Another tough road series being removed from the schedule after tomorrow.
  20. Trade Koepch while his value is high. I don't think he'll ever put together a full season between injuries and mental health issues.
  21. Yermin hitless for 5+ games now. Bad approach. He's had a bad approach for a while but he can compensate because when he runs into a ball he makes it go boom. Has been happening less often as the season has gone on.
