QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Oct 12, 2005 -> 10:45 PM) LMFAO AT THE MLB BOARDS!!!! All the Spankee, Red Sucks and Astro loser fans are uniting against the Sox and b****ing about the call. I f***ING LOVE IT!!!! LOSERS OF THE WORLD UNITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHA I'll take the win, but don't think for a second we wouldn't be doing the same thing if the call ahd gone the other way. -
QUOTE(chisox72 @ Oct 12, 2005 -> 10:36 PM) Thats why he is an ump and not a PR guy, his public speaking is HORRIBLE That and I think they know he messed up
-
QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Oct 12, 2005 -> 10:34 PM) Eddings sure sounds like a guy who is trying to talk his way out of a mistake. He sounds like he has no idea what the f*** he is talking about.

AND THATS A WHITE SOX PLAYOFF WINNER

QUOTE(bmags @ Oct 12, 2005 -> 10:13 PM) the kid from jersey said the frame play looked like it hit the dirt,, so i said hey... but what the f***, this play could have easily been non controversial It isn't really a question of whether the ball hit the dirt or not. It is the fact that the ump called AJ out that would have me going nuts if I was an Angels fan. The Angels got shafted tonight, obviously as a Sox fan I'll take it but if I was an Angels player or fan I'd be pissed right now. -
QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Oct 12, 2005 -> 10:11 PM) Just to shed some light on this from an experienced plate umpire. Regardless of whether or not the ball hit the ground, the umpire ruled 'out.' An arm extended means strike 3, the fist means 'batter is out'. Once he does this, he CANNOT ask for help at all. He's out, regardless of whether the ball hit the dirt or whatever any other umpire says. I'll take it. Sox win. But this is the most ridiculous thing i've ever seen. I was wondering about this but does anyone know if that can be protested by the Angels. I absolutely hate winning like this. But on the other hand hats off to Mark Buehrle, he was phenomenal tonight.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan99 @ Oct 12, 2005 -> 09:31 PM) Sac bunt, runner to second with Chone Figgins at the plate. I have a bad feeling that we will see a bloop base hit right here. Luckily I'm wrong, 2 down with Cabrera up -

QUOTE(Frankensteiner @ Oct 12, 2005 -> 09:26 PM) I didn't think yesterday could be topped, but we're getting there. The White Sox are chokers, they play horrible when the pressure is on. They sure played horrible against Boston -

QUOTE(Harry&JimmyRocked @ Oct 12, 2005 -> 08:33 PM) this guy is also the ump that likes to get "tv time" by stepping way out and throwing the ball back to the pitcher and drawing attention to himself. and can someone tell mark that piece of s*** hitters like that shouldn't hit homers off of him. Buehrle has pitched well tonight so far. I can live with a solo HR every once and a while Base hit by Erstad -

QUOTE(iWiN4PreP @ Oct 12, 2005 -> 08:29 PM) ump = blind where was that first pitch on rowand? how f***ing high it was The strike zone if large but it has been called both ways so far. That is all you can ask. -

How many errors can this team make in this series? What the f*** -
QUOTE(qwerty @ Oct 11, 2005 -> 10:21 PM) If people really want to say the game should have been tied because crede should have gone home they are delusional. In all reality contreras f***ed himself over on that play. I say it would have been tied had Crede gone directly to first base. There would have been two outs and if Contreras retires Guerrero the inning is over and the Angels would have had just one run.
