  2. Konerko walks, a chance for Dye to start making up for last night.
  3. AJ pops up, we need a big hit from Konerko now.
  4. 2-0 Yankees. Cano and Jeter have homered already for the Yankees
  5. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 23, 2005 -> 04:50 PM) But you said they were the best conference this upcoming season. You retract that statment than? Actually no he didn't. He said the ACC was the best overall. He had this to say about the upcoming season "If you are speaking of this year, then the ACC will take a backseat to atleast the Big East and maybe a few others. Here's a slight breakdown of the ACC."
  6. Sorry we can't all be blindly optimistic like you when are team is playing like s*** and are manager continues to hit a black hole in the #3 spot in the lineup and insists on using a relief pitcher in tight big games that clearly can't get anyone out among his spectacular managerial decisions this year. I still support the Sox, but I don't have to pretend like this team isn't choking.
  7. QUOTE(Spod=Ratings @ Sep 22, 2005 -> 10:26 PM) i have been supporting them even through this stretch of terrible baseball and now i am still behind them 100 % 2 out of 3 this series mark my words It's a 4 game series
  8. QUOTE(Felix @ Sep 22, 2005 -> 10:22 PM) Like who, Griffey? The 35 year old who would take up the entire payroll and sit on the DL? He's a piece of s*** player and his career is over. :headshake That's about as stupid as a comment as you will ever see on soxtalk and that is saying a lot.
  9. Thoughts on tonights game Brandon McCarthy-hell of a job, Johan Santana-2005 Cy Young award winner courtesy of the Chicago White SOx White Sox offense :puke White sox Bullpen :puke Aaron Rowand-please start playing defense like you did a week ago
  10. Big out there, runner had to hold at second
  11. QUOTE(winninguglyin83 @ Sep 22, 2005 -> 09:55 PM) Rowand has misjudged more balls this week than he has in two seasons. start to wonder what the hell is going on Can't handle the heat
  12. Aaron misreads a ball to center resulting in a double. His outfield play had been pretty bad the last few games
  13. Twins intentionally walking AJ to set up a DP. Gooch on deck
  14. Crede with the sac bunt. Pods on second with 1 out.
  15. Bartlett bobbles it, Podsednik reaches. Now don't get picked off
  16. QUOTE(S720 @ Sep 22, 2005 -> 09:40 PM) If we lose the pennat race, please don't blame Ozzie. You all just saw what happened. It's pathetic! We are in a tight situation with the Indians, and we had such a golden opportunity to win the NEEDED game. Bases loaded with only 1 out, and we can not get anyone in. Pathetic Dye! I guess instead of WIN, he died! Its mostly on the players, but to pretend Ozzie has done a good job with his game management this year is ignoring the obvious.
  17. QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Sep 22, 2005 -> 09:39 PM) Minnesota is a GIDP powerhouse. Our offenses combined might be almost as good as Cleveland's. Hafner>>>>>>White Sox and Twins offense combined
  18. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Sep 22, 2005 -> 09:38 PM) DAMMIT GET COTTS OUT OF THERE. Double play
  19. :banghead :headshake Wow.....just wow
