Of these last two months, the last thing i would call it was a struggle. It was a collaspe.

Sorry we can't all be blindly optimistic like you when are team is playing like s*** and are manager continues to hit a black hole in the #3 spot in the lineup and insists on using a relief pitcher in tight big games that clearly can't get anyone out among his spectacular managerial decisions this year. I still support the Sox, but I don't have to pretend like this team isn't choking.

The people that say that aren't leaving, you can bet they'll be here to remind us every night how bad we are. And well, they are bad, very very bad.

 

They say you can't win a championship in the first half of the season. This team will either prove that right or wrong in the next week.

Yes. And many of those same people saying that have been here for a majority of the 2 and a half years I have been here. They are frustrated and upset with the way their team is performing. I don't see them all abandoning the team and jumping off a building.

Who is leaving? I'm staying to the end but that doesn't mean we cant say the truth. This is a team that DOESN'T HIT. The lineup is anemic. I don't care how many wins they have or end up with. Compare this lineup to the good teams and you will see thet are average inthat department. Ozzie has made his share of mistakes.

We have a second year manager making second year mistakes.

We have a closer that has been in the majors for 2 months.

We sit our leadoff hitter.

Our bench stinks.

We have a manager that keeps putting Marte in when this guy is snakebit.

We score 1 run in 2 games.

Our centerfielder all of a sudden gets bad jumps on balls.

Our shortstop swings like he is playing 16" softball.

Our offense is just fine. They are not popping up or striking out with men on, they are stretching their home run muscles. They are waiting for the next indian series to hit 40 home runs. As Allah as my witness I have seen this. We will drive those wahoo swine into the 5th depths of hell.

I agree to a point. Knee jerk reactions are knee jerk reactions. But that's exactly what a lot of passionate fans are like.

Do you smile when someone gives you a kick in the jimmie and say, that was swell, can you go over to the shoe rack and get some steel toed ones and get a running start.

 

We give this team credit when it wins, I have been on this terrible offense all year long because I saw that as the only weakness. I never thought the pitching, defense or speed would abandon us. I thought we were a shoe in for the playoffs and only questioned how far we would go because of the lack of hitting.
