  1. Wow, you can come with lame reactionary insults. Good for you. Want a cookie? God forbid you prove my views wrong.
  2. The US wants control of the oil. They can't get that if Saddam still has control.
  3. Yeah, I heard about that bill in Oregon. I HIGHLY doubt it will pass. A friend of mine was talking to his parents who live in Oregon and they said that this guy is pretty much a lone nutball and they are usually pretty progressive, so they don't think it will pass. What an asshat Woolsley is. Did you hear that the CIA came out and said that they have ABSOLUTELY ZERO evidence that Syria sold Iraq night-vision goggles? Why is our administration lying so f***ing much. I guess they'll do anything to get that lovely oil.
  4. They talked about bringing him to justice....now, they don't want to because they can get all that luscious luscious oil.
  5. Ari and the White House doesn't think that capturing him and bringing him to justice is important though. Check out the "Truce" thread for the link to the news report confirming this. Wow, for the "We want to bring Saddam to justice" mentality that Bush had, he doesn't care now? I guess he blew his load over all those millions of barrels of oil he is gonna get at the cost of a few gallons of the middle class blood. :fyou Dubya!
  6. I have said it before and I will say it again "Adult Swim" has the coolest cartoons ever.
  7. Yeah, this kid randomly drew this huge mural yesterday that was anti-war and pretty graphic (lots of skulls...and a guy in a suit standing at a podium with a black face, oil wells spouting blood, etc.) I was taking some pictures of it and all these people just stopped and were really shocked that it was so powerful a statement. If my website doesn't want to be an ass, I'll try to post some of the photographs from my digital camera. It's sad to watch people walk by stuff like that and not have an opinion. That's why a few friends of mine have discussed doing guerrilla theater around our school. Like a die in and have signs saying we represent dead U.S./UK troops and innocent Iraqi civilians that have been slaughtered and put ourselves in such places where they will have to step over us or take notice of us...or similating a war zone on campus (dressing in fatigues and having a simulated war zone with fake blood, etc. etc. etc.) to really grab peoples' attention and get them out of their prole-like state. Also, I don't know if anybody caught this today, but it seems that Ari Fleischer has now stated that the White House does not really care anymore about finding Saddam Hussein anymore. Link CLICK ME
  8. http://schedule.cartoonnetwork.com/servlet...20Guy&filter=as FAMILY GUY IS BACK ON THE AIR ON CARTOON NETWORK STARTING APRIL 20! I think they are gonna be reruns but at least somebody picked up the show!
  9. The thing is that he and FOX pride themselves on "fair and balanced" reporting. When he admits that he is going to slant the information because he is "slanted and biased", then that compromises the integrity of journalism. There is a difference between baseball and foreign policy/war. This is on a much larger scale with important issues and peoples' lives are at stake. FOX is just so fair and balanced. I'm surprised CW hasn't gotten in on this and laughed his ass off yet either. Where you at, CWSox?
  10. Hahahaha....woo for crazy laws. Any of you know about Ronnie Dobbs and Mr. Show? Hehehe, you all should really watch it. There has to be somebody on here that has seen it.
  11. I have no problem with them wanting America to win. They can hold those opinions PERSONALLY. When doing a job in the media, they should at least attempt the illusion of objectivity. When they have the banner ad saying "Fair and balanced reporting!" and then Neil Cavuto saying "Am I slanted and biased? You're damn right I am" I find that hypocritical and, honestly, pretty goddamn amusing.
  12. Or take one from whitehouse.org and have the War Against Masturbation? http://www.whitehouse.org/initiatives/purity/index.asp
  13. While on the topic of very tasty food, I gotta give my props to Super Pretzels. These monstrosities are f***ing fantastic. A little water, a little salt, and 45 seconds later I have a very wonderful tasty salty treat. Mmmm.... Also, would anybody know where I could try to find a Ronald McDonald outfit?
  14. ...should sacrifice their overtime pay because we are in wartime. It is the Republican Senator Ted Stevens from Alaska. He stated that "I really feel strongly that we ought to find some way to convince people that there ought to be some volunteerism at home." I guess Stevens forgot that 60 of the 343 dead firefighters/police on 9/11 were off duty. How about this asshat give up his pay for a while as a wartime sacrifice? :fyou Ted! (brought to you a la www.rightwingslayer.com)
  15. Oh no, you called me a quality reporter who did objective work and told the truth and got fired for it! Thanks for the compliment, OldRoman.
  16. Batman kicks ass. But the best comic book characters have to got to Cassidy the drunken Irish vampire and Spider Jerusalem.
  17. The cousin of my best friend's roommate in college just recently died in a helicopter crash. Hey Georgie Bush, if you're reading this. :fyou you motherf***ing war criminal sonofab****. You f***ing chickenhawk AWOL motherf***er, you being the crown prince of the oil barons. And yes, I did check out www.opensecrets.org and found out a lot of influential members of Bushie's cabinet also have some obvious ties to oil industries. Kinda weird that we'd first invade a country that might not have weapons but has oil over a country who HAS weapons but no oil, right? I don't know if you saw on CNN, they were doing an interview with the family of one of the first troops to die in the war...hoping it would be incredibly patriotic that their son died for the noble cause, etc. etc. etc. but they were quite surprised when the man's father stated "George W. Bush, you killed my only son" and was VERY against the war in Iraq. Shock and awe, my ass. This is wholesale death and destruction.
  18. Yes it is. I also like www.whitehouse.org , www.rightwingslayer.com , www.bartcop.com , http://www.linkcrusader.com/anti-bush.htm#SONGS , and http://bushandcheneysuck.com/links.htm
  19. Hahahaha....great avatar, SoxHeads.
  20. They can make clothes out of industrial hemp. Industrial hemp is one of the strongest fibers on the face of the earth. They made clothes out of it during the medieval eras. In post-Revolutionary America for a time it was ILLEGAL to NOT grow marijuana because it made cheap textiles, etc. and helped to get America economically independent from England.
  21. The key word is that they TRY to present both sides. They usually demean and minimize the left and glorify and pontificate on the right. I'd like to think it was just an error every once in a while but it seems very institutionalized in the FOX News. They claim to be fair and balanced yet they obviously promote the agenda of the right (as a lot of other media does, but for some reason FOX does it so much more fervently...still trying to wonder why myself) I mean, I know the companies that own the media sources, I don't really know why FOX would be so fervent to promote the right though more than any of the other corporate news in America. Ideas?
  22. You can tax the hell out of it for those that want to use it. I have never met an angry pot smoker. I have however met too many angry drunks. Alcohol is an equal, if not more dangerous, drug. I believe the book is "Marijuana Facts Marijuana Myths" by Lynn Zimmer. Very informative read about the effects of marijuana etc. A large majority of people in prisons now are in for minor drug offenses. If legalized, it would cut down on the massive amount of people in prisons and lower taxes going to the building of new prisons, paying for prisoners, etc. etc. etc. Also, in the 1930s when they banned marijuana, one of the arguments in Congress for banning it was "under the influence of marijuana, a black man might look at a white woman twice." That was one of the justifications for banning marijuana. Also, industrial hemp is one of the greatest renewable crops in the world. It has no THC, can be made into clothes, rope, fiber, paper etc. etc. etc. and it can be grown again in weeks unlike having to wait for years for trees to grow again. It's a lot more environmentally friendly and cheaper to produce because there are less chemicals used to make it into paper, etc. Also, early tests have shown that pot stems, if used correctly, can also be like ethanol (early tests have also showed it is more powerful than ethanol as well) Then again, this is all that I have read on the subject. If you want more information try http://www.norml.org
  23. Doesn't FOX News parade around saying that their news is "fair and balanced" and the truth? How can it be fair if it is openly biased? That is what I was trying to show...the hilarity of their hypocrisy.
  24. admits that he is biased toward the war! He actually comes out and says it. HAHAHAHAHAHA http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,82504,00.html
