  1. Robert HBP on the hand. Collins with a single, and is now 4-5 today.
  2. Robert with a single. BA up to .357 in AAA.
  3. Double for Robert in the 8th.
  4. Robert with a single in the 5th.
  5. Curious, has anyone else here seen Luis Robert play in person? I was at the Dash home opener this year, and the Knights game last night, which were the two times I’ve seen him play. I just want to comment on how incredible it is to see him in person. Being up close to him, you can just tell that his body is MLB ready. Then you see how fast he can get down the line. Or what seems to be effortless power. Or the cannon that he has in the outfield. Just amazing. He is really worth the price of admission.
  6. Hopefully we hear something regarding Robert soon.
  7. What kind of return would Colome net the White Sox in a trade? Pretending he was being traded to the White Sox, would we get someone like Cease? Stiever? McClue? Dunning?
  8. By the time publications do their end of the year rankings, will Luis Robert be the #1 prospect in baseball? I think he should be, assuming he keeps this pace up? He has put up incredible numbers at every level. He can hit, run, and play defense at an extremely high level. He has a chance to be one of the all-around best players in the game when he gets to the Major League level, imo.
  9. Let me just start by saying that I do not think the Angels or White Sox will, should, or are even considering this. I was just curious as to what it would take for the Angels to trade Trout. Would this get it done? White Sox get: Mike Trout Angels get: Lucas Giolito, Michael Kopech, Luis Robert, Nick Madrigal, and Jonathan Stiever.
  10. https://www.milb.com/scores/whitesox/2019-07-24 I'll be at the Charlotte game tonight. Third row behind home plate.
  11. In response to why Robert didn’t play today.
  12. I don’t think he got called up, and I know this will sound like a fake source thing, but I live in Charlotte and was talking to a dude that gets autographs outside the ballpark before games. I asked if Luis was signing today, and he said he never saw him, and that was around 5pm. Luis drives a very distinct car and there is only one way into the ballpark for players. Just passing that along.
  13. When the Knights posted the lineup earlier, Robert was slated to start in CF. But now according to the lineup on Instagram, Robert is not in the lineup.
  14. If it were up to me, I would give him 3 or 4 games in Charlotte to get his rhythm back. Assuming he cruised through those starts, I would then call him up with no restriction. Like others have mentioned, by Opening Day next year, he will have missed 18 months. That seems like a good amount of time for surgery, healing process, then building the strength back. And if I know anything about Kopech, he seems like the guy that is doing everything in his power to rehab the correct way.
  15. I dont think I would do another mega-deal because in my opinion, the Sox will compete next year. I like what we have on the roster now. Add Robert, Madrigal and maybe Vaughn at the end of the year, plus a few starting pitchers, and the White Sox could be a playoff team next year.
  16. I was at the game where they gave away the poster after the perfect game. I few years later I brought it to college with me and hung it on the wall. The poster was above the desk/shelf area of my dorm room. One day it fell off, and slid right in the crack between the wall and the shelving. I was never able to get it out.
  17. One of my more random ones is something that I got last year. I went to a Kannapolis game because Rodon was starting on a rehab assignment. And because he was there, Jose Contreras was also there. I was sitting in the front row and Jose threw me a ball that had rolled foul during an AB. I then got him to sign the ball after the game. Thought that was pretty cool.
  18. So many good choices. I think I would go Kris Bryant. Could play him at 3B, and move Moncada back to 2B. Or you could play him in RF and have an OF of Jimenez, Robert and Bryant.
  19. As I type this I believe Nick Madrigal is playing in his 33rd game in Double-A. Madrigal is currently batting .376 with a .935OPS in those 35 games. That really is incredible.
  20. Figured it would be pretty cool to see what everyone has. What is everyone's favorite piece of White Sox memorabilia? I have a lot of stuff, but my favorites would probably be: -Ozzie Guillen signed World Series baseball. -Eloy Jimenez signed jersey. -Paul Konerko signed baseball. -Luis Robert signed 8x10 photo. What does everyone else have?
