With how Gonzalez looks against a team like the Cubs I really think we can compete with Q/Rodon/Gonzalez/Shields/Fulmer but we need to get a great return of near MLB ready players for Sale

I just can't figure out what the deal with the regression at 3rd is

They said you only trade him if it's a grand slam type deal, not a home run. So I don't think they were pushing for one.

That is very much out of the norm for them to even talk about that, however.

 

As if to make clear that the trade is not because of the incident, but simply because it's the smart thing to do.

Does Sale get to throw a side session with the team while under suspension or will Thursday's game be the first time he's thrown since his last side? It would suck if he gets bombed by the Cubs offense Thursday while the Sox are negotiating a trade.
