Third straight decent game

6 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 4 K.

Last 3 starts....18 IP, 13 H, 3 ER (1 each start), 4 BB, 14 K.

Listening to the Great Falls broadcast, Alec Hansen struck out the first 2 batters he faced, walked the third on a 3-2 count, and got a grounder to end the inning. Lots of swinging strikes too.

scoreless inning with 2 Ks and a walk by Burdi

Hansen two hitless innings with two Ks.

Fastball is up to 95, changeup getting plenty of swings and misses. He also hit a batter.

Burdi pitched a 2nd inning, in which he walked another batter, but struck out the side, including Dansby Swanson.

2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 5 K

Hansen allows a leadoff triple, strikes out the next hitter, and then the run scores on a groundout.

4 IP, 1 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 5 K.

By the time Burdi makes it to 35th & Sheilds, he'll be throwing 91-92.

Burdi's pitching a lot better; but wish they'd work on him as a starter. Rush up into bullplan plans unnecessary.

I'm hoping the fact that he has gone 2 IP a couple times now is a sign that they may stretch him out. No reason to call him up in this lost season, but I am guessing they are going to let him finish out the season doing a few more 2 IP appearances, then hopefully put him on a SP's offseason workload and start him in W-S next year.

Hansen gave up a HR in the 5th, but also struck out a couple more.

5 IP, 2 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 7 K.

Whatever the hell they did with Hansen's control, seems to be working.

Man he's been impressive. This whole draft honestly. Could be a franchise changing draft. Way too early but the excitement is fun.

Just have to hope they don't rush him next year.

Luis Curbelo has 16 errors this season. Two tonight got him there. Yikes.

Hopefully that means he has great range, but bad mechanics.
