Really don't know what more Albers needs to do to get DFA. Rather see Ynoa or Fulmer get a chance here.

No reason to bunt, Ned. He could hit into a DP I guess, but kinda dumb of Neddie.

Strange to see that boxscore with 1s and 0s for Ks and then Anderson's five.

White Sox springing more holes tonight in their quest for mediocrity next year.

Didn't Cuthbert walk us off already this season? I think he did.

This would be a learning opportunity for those guys, Kanhle....basically anyone else BUT Albers.

At least some things don't change much. Ventura maintaining his predictable ways until the very end. Well, perhaps he learned not to walk the bases loaded with Jennings out there and a leadoff hitter on 3rd.

Unbelievable.

Like whom? Seattle? Who else? Montreal maybe.

Baltimore

Toronto

Tampa Bay

Cleveland

Detroit

Minnesota

Texas

Seattle

Houston

LA Angels

Oakland

Washington

Miami

NY Mets

Cubs

Pittsburgh

milwaukee

Cincinnati

LA Dodgers

Colorado

San Diego

Arizona

These are all of the teams who have NOT won a World series since the Sox have.

LOL.

It's pretty bad when you have to concede games like Robin does by putting in Albers. Fathom woulda won it earlier with a home run off that stiff Albers.

Albers is a good lesson to pretty much ignore bullpen ERA in any given season

That was predictable.

DFA Hahn or Albers.

One of them will suffice.

Why did we bring up Coats again?

You've just provided Brooks Boyer his marketing campaign for next season, unfortunately.

Robin concedes too many games. Putting in Albers in extra innings means throwing in the towel. I do think the DFA finally is coming. Albers is incapable of getting big league hitters out.

So the free agents Hahn signed this offseason were:

- Avila

- Jackson

- Navarro

- Albers

- Rollins

- Latos

That's impressive

Eaton didn't exactly resemble Willie Mays on that single up the middle by Cain. Not that it matters with Albers. Is he one of the worse pitchers in modern day Sox history?

Who's last Sox reliever to stay on roster for full season while having an ERA near 6?

Shuck

Nate Jones is not a closer folks (neither is Robertson).

Something about Kansas City and the Sox bullpen isn't there?

Fourth game THIS SEASON the Sox led K.C. in the 7th inning or later...and lost.

KC definitely has had the Sox number for the last few seasons.

WAR:

0.7

0.0

-0.2

-0.9

-0.1

0.0

Total: -0.5 WAR for $17m.

And I'd argue a good bit worse than -0.5 when accounting for Navarro's framing.

Yikes.

I'd be curious what $25M would buy.

Wasn't Hahn on the radio recently talking about how great Sox management was at finding pitching? They're good at finding the occasional starter, but they can't find relief pitching with a roadmap.

Anderson with the first diamond sombrero I can remember.

you sure post like you very strongly dislike the handling of this team. does that more fit how you post about the owner. You really enjoy playing the semantics game.

I've never said in any post the owner sucks. I've been saying the opposite. He has done many good things for the organization and baseball itself for that matter.

Yes, you always respond that the owner is the issue.

For example?
