Yankees Release RHP Eovaldi but not that interesting b/c had TJS

Featured Replies

I wouldn't mind kicking tires on a player like Eovaldi if we are rebuilding. He is not good, but he has random good streaks and maybe could catch lightning in a bottle and be flipped.

We will need to field a team of some players so, this is my suggestion.

It would totally be a White Sox type of move.

He won't be taking the field in 2017. Elbow surgery.

I'd like it more if he wasn't going to miss all of next season, but sure, why not?

No no no no no. We do need to suck next year to make sure our rebuild is awesome so this might help us out.

White Sox Sign Nathan Eovaldi

Subtitle: COnverting him to LHP?

Sign him to a backloaded 2 or 3 year deal with tons of incentives.

There's no risk and the reward is pretty intriguing.

I would like it if the Sox were to sign him but he's missing all of the upcoming season. Maybe they can come to sign him to the minimum for the upcoming season and for $5M-$7M for 2018.
