So just for fun, I put together a system-wide org chart for the White Sox. I slotted in all the players at all levels as best as I could, guessing on Opening Day assignments. Underneath are two lists - the ones I couldn't fit, and then the free agents as-yet unsigned.

Missing OF Caleb Gindl that the Sox signed a couple weeks ago, and I'm pretty sure the Sox resigned Marcus Lemon. Other than that, looks great.

Nice work and much appreciated! I think you have Fisher & Adalfo reversed. Jameson is a fairly advanced hitter and already 23 years old, so I can't see him starting in low A. I think we see a high A outfield of Basabe, Call, & Fisher with Micker at least repeating low A to start the season.

He's on my list of misfit toys, right under the main grid. He's one of many arms I am not sure where to put - there just isn't room.

The Kahnle trade was pointless from the get-go (Sox had several Kahnles), with little to gain at the cost of an interesting low-level minor leaguer with upside. Shields trade was similarly nonsensical.

Hahn should wish he had every trade from 2014-2015 back.

I defended the Shields deal at the time because I thought he had something left in the tank (lol nope) and knew Johnson and a LatAm lottery ticket wasn't a steep price. Johnson is who we thought he was but Tatis Jr looks interesting which could be bad. But still, at the time, it was defensible considering the situation.

I'm looking forward to seeing a full season of Jacob Cooper.

I want to see what Shields looks like this spring. I really think there was something to the injury thing.

After the sox hot start I was ok with the shields acquisition but he looks like toast, wish we had Almonte back in our system, oh well.

 

one suggestion for the big board, maybe consider notating hitters with * for left handed and # for switch.

Jacob Cooper-Steadman (usually just goes by Cooper) is a catcher, was in rookie ball last year. I am not sure where he'd even play in 2017, but probably Great Falls.

 

Thank you for putting this together (and sharing it). I had to dig my password out of the back on my head somewhere just so I could express some gratitude. It's been a few years since I've religiously checked minor league box scores, but this time around I might have to spring for MiLB.TV just to keep up with all the young promising arms we've assembled. I'm almost as excited about the Baron's starting staff as Charlotte's.

Just wanna say great work, I had one myself, but yours is a lot better so I downloaded it and saved it in Excel for my own purpose.
