Jake Posted March 29, 2017 Share Posted March 29, 2017 I'm guessing this may be a similar deal to what we did with them with Jesse Crain where the return is contingent on some component of his play. TBH, I would have rolled with Bourjos long enough to get at least a super low level prospect, so I'm hoping there's a chance of getting that rather than just a little money. CaliSoxFanViaSWside Posted March 30, 2017 Share Posted March 30, 2017 I was hoping the Sox would hang onto him for his defense which is still very good and at 29 years old thought it was possible for him to have a bounce back year. He did once put up a 5 WAR season tough that seems ages ago. Any way last word he went 3/5 today during his Rays debut with a HR and 3 RBI.
