Your 1st Place Chicago White Sox

An alternative to tanking - Continue to play good baseball. That will put fans in the seats who will drink beer. Then spend the beer money on Luis Robert.

Watch this team pull a 2000 White Sox on all of us.

Anyone who thinks we can catch Cleveland is crazy.

White flag trade # 2? :D

It's July 31st, 2017.

The Chicago White Sox are 6 games over .500, 1.5 games behind the Cleveland Indians, and in 2nd place in the AL Central.

Avisail Garcia is hitting .325, Matt Davidson has 18 home runs, Rodon has a sub-3 ERA, and the bullpen remains dominant.

Yoan Moncada and Lucas Giolito have had strong showings since their early June call-ups.

Nevertheless, the Sox swing trades for Dan Jennings, David Robertson, Melky Cabrera, Todd Frazier, and Nate Jones.

Even though that was mostly sarcastic, I can actually see this team being pretty good and still selling, to the dismay of *some* fans.

This team has been really good, but I still expect them to sell at the deadline.

Ahhhhh...the ecstasy of WINNING! You can't beat it!!

Gotta rebuild to get that. We're really not a contender at this point.

The stats of this team are so bizarre, across the board. They almost don't make any sense at all.

Not only do certain individuals not make any sense, but you look at their team stats and wonder how this team could only have a team OPS in the .600s scoring 7, 8, 12 runs in many recent games. The whole thing is just baffling.

Enjoying the ride no matter how long it lasts, gotta love being in a full rebuild and having young players like Avi,Leury,Matt showing signs of life.

The Twins are now in first place :lolhitting

Only one division in baseball with 4 out 5 teams above .500.......the toughest division in the game top to bottom is the AL Central.

Is this sarcasm? Because if it is not, I whole heartedly disagree with you. The AL East is by far the toughest division.

Good. I don't want any delusions of grandeur.

Oh absolutely, I'm absolutely paralyzed in fear by the mighty Minnesota Twins. They might be the best team I've seen since the 2001 Mariners.
