I always liked Avila with the Sox. Just too bad he couldn't stay healthy.

Oftentimes, in this game things are taken for granted. One of those is Frazier's defense. As inconsistent as he is at the plate, sure is nice to have sure hands at the hot corner.

Only played 57 games, hit .213, 11 RBI all of last year. He was certainly part of the reason we weren't any good, even if his health was the major factor. We shouldn't have thought we could rely on him to stay healthy, but under 60 games is bad.

nothing new... Robertson leads the majors in blown saves the past two seasons.
