May 2, 20178 yr Author And now Collins throws down to 2nd to pick off a runner. Dunning pitching after an error.
May 2, 20178 yr we knew when we drafted him that he was a beast controlling the running game, but that questionable bat they kept talking about is still a problem. I guess that's baseball....so predictable. Edited because I can't spell Edited May 2, 20178 yr by Blackout Friday
May 2, 20178 yr Danny Hayes continues to intrigue me. Assuming he cuts his strikeouts back to his usual levels I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing him get a chance after the trade deadline.
May 2, 20178 yr QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ May 2, 2017 -> 06:43 PM) Danny Hayes continues to intrigue me. Assuming he cuts his strikeouts back to his usual levels I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing him get a chance after the trade deadline. He's super interesting to me. A bit on the older side, but as a potential 1B/DH that's much less of a problem. Might be tough to find him a spot depending on how things shake out for Saladino, Davidson, & Delmonico post trade deadline.
May 2, 20178 yr The people are excited for YoMo. A note - the pitcher going against Kanny has not allowed a baserunner in the last 12 innings. He has a perfecto last time and so far is doing the same tonight.
May 3, 20178 yr QUOTE (flavum @ May 2, 2017 -> 05:50 PM) Collins threw out another runner. Everyone raise their hand who though Collins' fielding would appear to be ahead of his hitting at this point in his career? Dude's gonna rake soon enough, great to see he's also showing some skills behind the dish.

May 3, 20178 yr QUOTE (fathom @ May 2, 2017 -> 06:07 PM) Nice jinx Worked out really well for Kanny, anyways.
May 3, 20178 yr Bernardo Flores 5.0 IP, 5H, 2ER, 1BB, 6K. 7.61 K/9 v 1.90 BB/9 on the year. 60% groundball rate. 2.93 ERA. Really like him.
May 3, 20178 yr Just saw the video of the Moncada HR, was an absolute bomb to the power alley in left center. His stroke from the left is a thing of beauty. https://twitter.com/NickCarboniWCNC/status/...554729604657153
