He just reminds me so much of Fields and Beckham where they have great rookie years and forget how to play baseball in their 2nd year. He was the one offensive player I truly cared about how they played this year, and seeing him 3rd to last in fWAR is frustrating.

It's a month into the season. He's been bad so far there's absolutely no doubt about that but you're also talking about a guy who has gone through struggles and improved big time at every level. He's going to be fine.

They just look lost at the plate. Soft hits. How does this team score 8 runs one game and 1 run the next, seems like it happens quite often.

Bad game. Kind of the game you'd expect on the road against a good team with our roster. Overall the Sox are still overachieving under Renteria.

I thought the Sox hitters took some cookies in the 8th inning BTW. I like the patience at the plate overall, but it was possible to hit that stiff in the eighth. Oh well. This year is different. I don't get mad cause ultimately Cleveland wins the division and we got no shot at WC.
