Improvement in the second. Up to 37 pitches now, which isn't too bad.

Teams aren't dumb (unless you're Hahn last year). Holland's peripherals are awful. ERA looks good due to 11 unearned runs.

To the statniks ... Stoney just mentioned a pitcher was 7-0 and lauded a low ERA. Does that infuriate you? I thought wins and ERA meant NOTHING nowadays.

Surely the Sox are gonna still get no hit a few times before the season is over. This is pretty much the worst everyday lineup I've ever seen. Renteria is already manager of the year for concocting as many wins as he has.
