Avi just hit that one to god damn Clearwater

Oh my.

kilt

This Avi stuff has been fun to watch. So far.

Avi .335/927 OPS

Davidson still over a 800 OPS despite all the K's, 255/814

Frazier, Cabrera and Anderson separated by 17 OPS points

Of those who have watched all the games so far, how many errors would Tim Anderson still have with Keith Hernandez at 1B?

Edited by caulfield12

Anderson not even close

Hawk actually made a good point that this year Avi isn't missing his pitches. Obviously difficult to say what's changed but his bat is certainly quicker.

Should just stuck with Beck. Who cares about this game.

Maybe the weight loss and concentration of "fast twitch" muscular development, rather than sheer bulk/power.

I certainly think so.

Narvaez isn't half bad really. And that is a sick Rawlings glove Swarzak has.

Remember when Longoria looked like a potential HoFer at 3B?

He's been there ten years now. 2008 playoff series seems ages ago. Except that stupid Balfour nonsense with Orlando Cabrera.

What's crazy is that his 2009 season, when he had a 889 OPS, was good for a 133 wRC+, in 2013, when he had an OPS of 842, that was also a 133 OPS+. Offense has fallen off.

GOD DAMN LEURY. He needs to be benched for tmr IMO. Too many mental errors today, one of them on sheer laziness, the other sheer stupidity.

YUGE RBI there for Abreu...

Let's hope Robertson has his good stuff tonight, if Kanhle can negotiate the 8th successfully.

Going at Garcia up and in....then pounding him low and away, got him with slider.

Omar is awful on low pitches

UH-OH.

We've been waiting to have a team leader out of the catching position ever since AJ left.

STILL WAITING.

(Hopefully Collins is the man.)

Walk Miller again to face Sucre?

That would put the go-ahead run on 1st, a managerial textbook no-no unless you're Maddon.

Let's see if Renteria gets away with playing with fire twice in one game.

Edited by caulfield12

That was a strike. Changed the complexion of the entire at-bat.

Poor Kahnle gotten squeezed on obvious strikes. Now it's in his head.

At least he didn't walk him.

Kahnle's mentally so much stronger than last year, where he was more reminiscent of Miguel Cleto.

Barely missed there for strike 3.

Nice job there by Kahnle
