What really sucks is Lopez is the only guy in Charlotte really pushing for a spot in the rotation. Coming into the season, I was hoping for two or three guys to be ready by now. I'm all for a rebuild, but it's painful watching the Holland, Shields, Gonzalez, Pelfrey quartet.

Once Gonzalez is back, Pelfrey will be gone, and we will be back to a Q, Rodon, Shields, Gonzalez, Holland rotation. If Gonzalez is anything like was was last year, and A and Rodon continue what they are doing (assuming Q doesn't get traded), these games should at least be bearable. Shields will probably give us a few good ones too, but Holland hasn't looked good since May., doubt he will be any better.

 

I'm a side note, I'm going to the first game after the all star break against Seattle. Very much looking forward to watching a Q start, and possibly his final or second to final start. Probably gonna face king Felix. Looking forward to that matchup.
