Rodon has gotten off to slow starts, but has seen his stuff come together over the course of the start. Hopefully he had something click last time around.

Us = Sox

Them = Sawks

Let us strive mightily to win! I think Rodon could have a real good game

I'm slightly annoyed Jose isn't better than he is.

I've never seen this many people of color on a Red Sox team before.

Random thought

Carlos Rodon folks. Nice play.

STop the f***ing bunting. I beg you rick. And also, Smith cleanup, lolwut.

That first strike on Moncada was bulls***

Moncada sure does get some s*** calls against him.

Ugh, that swing from the right is just not very good.

Heard today that Moncada doesn't have a hit on a pitch in the 90s yet. He really has to be more aggressive on pitches down the plate

And yet the scouting report on Moncada, at least batting lefty, was that he kills fastballs.

4/41 is looking like a Robin Ventura line. Seems he is just being way too patient and invariably hitting in two strike counts, hence all the k's and a fair share of walks as well.

Meanwhile, Devers can go 0/32 and still be hitting .200.

One wonders how long they keep him switch hitting unless the RH results pick up...clearly faster getting down the line from LH side as well to pick up some infield hits.

I would like to see Moncada be more aggressive early in his at bats

Anderson playing like he hopes this is the last week of the season.

Threatening to go under the dreaded 600 ops line. Has no plan up there, Harrelson mentioned it last night when he should have been trying to move both runners over, continues to pull everything to left side on the ground.

Run dude. Yikes.

He will learn and I am betting the staff will be working with him

Readings numerous articles, he's understandably in a horrible place off the field. You are seeing it impact him on the field as well with his short fuse. He just needs to stay healthy and try to recover mentally during the offseason.

Impressive at-bat by Nicky, in that situation, off of a lefty.

He was hitting LHP really well the first half of the year in AAA

Delmonico looks like he belongs in the majors offensively...so there's that.

But where to play him? Wish they could get Abreu to accept a DH role. For now, it has to be LF or DH.

Rodon has great stuff tonight

Sox Desperately need to find a good framing catcher. Rodon gets so screwed

Great job by Rodon escaping that mess.

And that stuff just minimalized what could have been a big inning for the Carmines.
