ReyLo game #2 vs Texas

I'm watching football and don't have extra innings this season, how does Lopez look? I saw that he had a rough inning. Was it just being wild and walking guys?

You can't actually be this dense. Can you?

Yoan has strikeout issues. Serious strikeout issues. Those issues could, and in my opinion will, stop him from being what people expect him to be. Hitting a homerun is nice, but it doesn't change his issues. Joe Borchard hit monster home runs too, but it didn't override his issues (and no I'm not comparing the very different tool sets of these two players).

I just can't stand seeing Yoan do something positive, and then have some tool wanting to know the whereabouts of that one guy who dared to doubt him. I'm right here, my doubts are still right here.

If that's what you really feel, then keep being you. People get so excited about the rebuild, they forget bigger prospects than Moncada have busted. We all hope he doesn't, as do you, but baseball is a funny game.

It's nice having some speed in the lineup.

I've noticed a trend...Engel doesn't recognize sliders very well.

Leury Garcia becoming the best all around regular on the Sox is one of the most surprising f***ing things I have ever seen in baseball.

Leury has developed into a very fine player

Easily 3 win player if not for injury

Huge velocity drop for Lopez. Fastball at 90-91 this inning. Hope he's not injured

Lopez has nothing on his breaking ball tonight.

He might still get there...I think he peaked around 1.8, came back down to 1.6 and back on the ascent.

Playing CF instead of LF would help as well, but that won't happen with Engel on the roster.

Plus, you know Leury must be extra motivated against his former team.

I think he's just trying to pitch instead of throw, which is good long term. Two really nice changeups for the K there.

For me, Leury has to be the biggest surprise this season. He's the kind of player the twins had in their pesky piranha' days.

Yep got it to 94 that inning. Nice and efficient

Moncada now 16/82...needs 1/3 to get back to the Mendoza Line.

705 OPS

Delmonico 19/50, .380.

Wow, an Anderson walk....what the heck is going on?

Seems like from the beginning, a lot of scouts think he ends up as a high leverage reliever. Sox shouldn't be anywhere close to considering that yet (no reason to), but I could see it. Should be interesting to watch.

No doubt, the stuff he had in first inning vs KC when he had adrenaline was filthy

Got Leury for Rios. Could have something with him possibly. Good to see and he'll have his opportunity during this rebuild

I wonder what Rally Crede is doing these days

TA walked. Now you know Ross is having a rough night.

Eloy Jimenez with 3 hits so far in his 2nd game in Birmingham. Dude is just destroying the minor leagues. If he can put this kind of production up in the majors...he Will be a superstar. That would be the biggest "win" of Q's Sox career

Anyone notice usage of the phrase "that's exactly right" happening at a high rate on both radio and tv call (especially radio) lately?

Yeah, I agree. Wasn't trying to take a shot at Timmy, it's just true that he doesn't walk much. TA looks like he's having fun again.

Lopez has found his groove.
