It's true. I received a phone call earlier.

I get that cubs fans want to shake things up but that's swinging the pendulum too far the other way. For tonight's game against Dervish I would shoot for something like Heyward RF, Jay CF , Happ LF, Rizzo 1B, Zobrist 2B, Russell SS and Bryant 3B. Too me, that shakes things up just enough without going to crazy.

 

That said, Joe Maddon is gonna Joe Maddon so I expect to see the usual suspects tonight. Which is a good thing.

Schwarber in LF is too much of a defensive liability. I'd keep his bat on the bench to PH for a pitcher.

Darvish has been utterly dominant in his last 4 starts (0.74 ERA, 0.49 WHIP, 28/1 K/BB ratio), I'm feeling pretty good about him tonight.

Baez out, Zobrist in at 2B. Schwarber bats #2 so I'd guess he's in LF.

Agreed. The way Hendricks pitched in his last outing against the Nat's, cubs fans should be worried about that Dodger lineup with the wind blowing out.
