October 21, 20178 yr Maybe if he pronounced his name "Petreeka" like it looks these kinds of things wouldn't happen.
October 21, 20178 yr QUOTE (TitoMB @ Oct 21, 2017 -> 02:24 AM) Just get rid of him. Why? People said the same thing about Avi for years and Leury Garcia. If he can overcome his injuries, and that is a big if, he could be a pretty decent asset. It isn't like giving him a roster spot next year is going to cost the team a pennant. One good thing about rebuilding is it gives guys who were hurt or struggling who wouldn't normally get second or third chances, those chances. We have seen guys who went overseas and came back much different players because they had more chances. Odds are against it, but he doesn't cost much, there is plenty of room for him, and trying to trade him would get you nothing. Keep Edited October 21, 20178 yr by Dick Allen
October 21, 20178 yr Wish him well. Hope he retires. He's not good even when healthy (which is very, very rare...)
October 21, 20178 yr QUOTE (Lip Man 1 @ Oct 21, 2017 -> 10:28 AM) Wish him well. Hope he retires. He's not good even when healthy (which is very, very rare...) Thats not really true. The problem is that he is never healthy.
October 22, 20178 yr https://twitter.com/ChrisKuc/status/921486187507970048 Petricka elbow surgery. 3-4 months. Whatever. Hope he is smart enough not to retire until he's healthy. That way he can increase his service time by a year and help his pension. Everyone thinks they will be young forever but tomorrow has a way of sneaking up on you.
October 23, 20178 yr QUOTE (Lip Man 1 @ Oct 21, 2017 -> 09:28 AM) Wish him well. Hope he retires. He's not good even when healthy (which is very, very rare...) This is false. He is "good" when healthy. The problem is that he has been healthy for a season and a half 2014 & 2015.
