Yeah it's not a ton of money invested in him so its all good

Agreed, The cost was $22 million for him? The Cubs just gave a guy $10 million who just had TJ surgery and can't even pitch in 2018.

Yeah, and Anaheim gets him for six years.

 

What is interesting here is that if he has to have surgery before he is placed on the major league roster, he would accrue no major league time at all. The Angels would still have six full years of control.
