January 5, 20188 yr https://www.fangraphs.com/fantasy/breakouts...ck-castellanos/ I'm not going to lie, I would be on board getting him. Above is an interesting article talking about his most recent season and the breakout that didn't happen (albeit the underlying numbers might say that he actually made major strides and is even more due). Both positives / negatives in the article. Depends on if you believe how much is luck and whether he could enhance his launch angles.
January 5, 20188 yr QUOTE (CWSpalehoseCWS @ Jan 4, 2018 -> 07:43 PM) Interesting. Guess they would have put him back at 3B? I'd stick him in LF with Delmonico and they can alternate playing the field and DH'ing
January 5, 20188 yr Makes no sense why would the Tigers trade him and why would we be interested considering he only has two years of control left?
January 5, 20188 yr QUOTE (wrathofhahn @ Jan 4, 2018 -> 10:39 PM) Makes no sense why would the Tigers trade him and why would we be interested considering he only has two years of control left? I understand why the Tigers would trade him, but not why we would want him for the lack of team control you mentioned.

Castellanos had a career year in '17 so I wouldn't expect the cost to be cheap. Not interested in helping the Tigers in their rebuild either. Luckily, it's just a rumor and likely nothing more.
