Giolito is very concerned about his speed to home so I can only assume that each stolen base will further contribute to his inconsistency

Yep. And I get that wins are unimportant this season and that we want to see the kids development, but Engel has had enough time. Cordell deserves a full season to see what he’s made of. The longer we wait with a guy who clearly isn’t a MLBer, the less viewing time we have with the guy who might be.

Been an insane amount of bad defensive plays that don't show up in box score because they weren't/can't be ruled an error

Bad weather and bad defense in both starts for Giolito. Just great for a young pitcher...
