  • That segment was painful. Roan is terrible enough as it is, but to listen to him and Hawk talk about golf? That inning is finally over. Thank god

Yeah, I’m really digging the new site.  Lot of cool new features that generally make it better.  And the improvements for phone users like myself is like going from black & white to color TV.

I’m confident the team takes this one today.  Lopez has looked pretty awesome this year and I really think the offense can get to McCullers.  Plus the team is going to do everything in it’s power to avoid another sweep.

Team that can't hit offspeed pitches vs a pitcher who throws a ton of sliders

I don't think they win the game, but I think Lopez at least makes it competitive.

Come on Kid give us something to cheer!

Astros crew really like Lopez.

What the hell is Hawk talking about

I asked this last night, but isn’t Geoff Blum their analyst?

This Astros lineup is fucking brutal.

I believe so.

Lopez really looks like he's throwing free and easy today.

Yeah, high pitch count for the first inning but he doesn't look lost or frustrated. His slider and curve are coming out of his hand really nicely. Unlike Giolito, Lopez has the feel for the release point. And his stuff is major league quality. He may very well be the ace of this staff in 2 years. He just needs to attack the zone.

I’ve just about seen my fair share of walks for the next 5 months. This is gross

Getting squeezed, of course.

Yay more walks. His fastball command needs drastic improvement

Every pitch was called correctly, so I’m not sure I agree

At least Lopez can attack with his fastball when he's behind.

where did pitch trax have that first breaking ball to Springer?  Looked good to me.

Too many walks but at least he doesn’t panic and is able to get out of a bases loaded jam

Nasty.  Don't think we've seen a Sox pitcher work a hitter like that all year.

Nasty curve to Moncada

Btw awesome additions to soxtalk. This place looks great with the update.
