What a joke more 1st inning runs.

Giolito is not a major leaguer right now.

  • Do what I did and tell your kids that the Cubs don't like legos and Toy Story. That will make them Sox fans quickly

  • Tell them the Cubs will steal their chicken nuggets as well.

That would be a dealbreaker for me. If it’s in Wrigley, he needs to be in Sox swag. Compromise.

Just can’t get it done. Two out two run single and Sox trail in the 1st inning again

Another awful frame job

Staring last year, the Sox seem to give up a lot of runs in the first inning. It might be time to review the pre game routine.

Just get a hit today

It's like watching Jon Rauch all over again.

Let’s see if Gio can keep them with less runs scored than the previous two shits did..

Please feel free to replace Cooper. He's still living off 2005 and Sale.

Renteria puts on a good face but has to wonder what he did to deserve this. Look at what Aaron Boone took over in his first mlb manager job

Realistically who comes up if Gio keeps imploding? Covey?

They don't have anyone. Let him work it out up here. It's not like it matters anyway. Same with Fulmer.

Just have the rotation consist of Giolito, Fulmer, Rodon, Lopez and Shields. DFA MiGo. No need to waste service time for Kopech/Jimenez until September.

Giolito is so frustrating because his breaking stuff is so damn good but he has no idea where his fastball is going.

Coop will fix em

Maybe he should focus on his players being prepared out of the gate

Either is the clueless excuse for a manager.

With Jerry, 2005 gives you a lifetime pass.

So scream uncontrollably since you have no idea

Cub fans have been doing it for decades.  Then, when they go to a different park where there is plenty of room, like Coors Field, they still do it.

Being up here is doing him no good. He has no chance right now.  Go to AAA and hopefully regain confidence. If not, he will be in Independent baseball in 3 years

3 stolen bases in 1 inning

That was a nice pitch on Russell.

At least he held them to only 2...

Not to go all Thad or WSWBF, but new ownership would be a great thing.

Very lucky to only be down 2 0

Idk, maybe they can sign some guys off the street like Kazmir to placehold?
