I don't want to speak for everyone...but most of us don't give a shit about Nylander. I know you think you're smarter than everyone here....but we talk about Nylander so much ONLY because you defend him like you do. You've been wrong about it the entire time, and we have been telling you that basically since the time he got here, he isn't a good hockey player. We all know there are much bigger and different problems with the team.

And now you're coming around on Bowman.......maybe, just maybe a few of us know what we are talking about...and possibly see things before you do in certain instances.

Had he just compared Nylander to Teravainen months ago, I would've known to ignore his hockey opinions then & saved myself a ton of headache

In a vacuum, no. With the existing long-term salaries on the Hawks? Yes. Ask Toronto how having 3 forwards making $11M annually is working for them.  Look at it this way: DeBrincat+Saad or Panari

Did you think Perlini sucked before he got here too? If so, maybe I'll stfu a bit more. I defended him all of the 2019 season before taking the L on that one.

Basically what I'm saying is that I'm willing to take the L on Nylander if everyone would just STFU about it.

Both Perlini and Nylander are the hockey equivalent of taking a flyer on Mazara.

They're gambles that good teams make but you're going to strike out more than you hit a HR. Knowing when to bail is the key here. Like I said earlier, it's like going to the casino with $100 and leaving with $60.

You were wrong about Teravainen then Parkman and still are now. If Nylander even showed half of what Teravainen did in the playoffs I personally wouldn't be ridiculing him. I saw flashes from Teuvo when he was here when people (including you) and the media were giving him shit. I have not seen that from Nylander. Does he make the occasional good play defensively? Yes and I'm not saying he's a bad hockey player. But for his draft pedigree I don't want to see him be David Kampf out there (who btw is also producing more in the playoffs than he has while also taking the much tougher defensive assignments).

That's perfectly fair. No issues with this post.

Well.. Colliton did good by scratching Nylander. But not for John fucking Quenneville who is a much worse hockey player.

No idea why they don't wanna draw Kurashev in. Hell, I'd rather freaking Sikura out there. Just making me miss Nylander. If they are going to make dumb decisions like that, then leave Nylander in the whole series.

Launch Colliton into the sun.

If Bowman won't do it launch him too.

If that was Crawford's final game as a Hawk then what a ride it's been.

I feel like Keith was really bad tonight. He looks slow and was bad with the puck. He was a step late on the first three goals, and I’m pretty sure he was on the ice for all four goals against.

He's 37 with tons of mileage what do you expect. Keith is on his sunset tour.

Because of the flat cap you won't get fair value if you trade Kane and/or Toews.

Launch him to fucking Saturn. The guy is a clueless moron and so is Bowman.

Good thing Bowman signed Maatta last offseason. Wonderful acquisition.

Maatta trade in a vacuum was fine

de Haan trade in a vacuum was fine

both combined sucked.

I hated the Shaw move from the moment it was made.

There was no reason to acquire one of Maatta/de Haan or Shaw. Caggiula does what Shaw does for half the price.

They finally had cap space last year and they wasted it.

They should have taken the #2/3 they traded for Shaw and moved it for Nylander, kept Jokiharju and acquired de Haan only.

The Maatta trade was always a longshot for success. I agree with the rest.

Ugh.. not a fan of the Maatta deal. I understand it cause of the cap, but that guy is so underrated.

Oh my...

Crawford not coming back.

So, whose going to be the goalie now?

They'll be fine, they have Robin Leh.....oh wait.

Bowman's really got it all under control :)

Start the rebuild.  Seriously.  We all loved the last decade, but you are chasing ghosts at this point.  Its over.

Yep, let's see if they actually mean it & deal someone like Kane, Toews or Keith (I'd include Seabrook but who the hell wants him?)

Those three will only go somewhere if they want to.

I'm fine with them rebuilding. They have some young pieces already in place.

Bowman should be gone, don’t trust him to mow my yard.

They should've done it 3-4 years ago (while Kane, Toews and Keith were all still semi young). Instead they've been putting bandages on a wound that needed stitches.

They should have done it immediately after winning their last cup but the fanbase would have revolted.
