Lol. This is true!  More good managing with Minaya still out there.

  • Yeah, I actually began to notice this initially from back when I played as well. My high school and college managers were like that. Those levels are LITTERED with f'n Tony LaRussa wanna be's who thin

Tilson seems to be a groundout machine and Engel is a sucker for outside pitches. But, I question having Minaya up with the club. He and Infante are not good

I would like to know exactly which Latin American players have improved due to Renteria's supposely calming presence?

Yeah, was gonna say. It was nearly an identical situation to the current White Sox. They just wanted a manager that the young guys would take to and would be easy to have around while they stunk the joint up.

Yep, Cubs just wanted a babysitter for Castro and Rizzo

Renteria = atrocious tonight

impressive, brought his era now down under 8....might as well throw Danish out there, Adams, anyone else.

Yesterday was horrible too, but he threw Volstad under the bus instead of taking blame.

Gotta wonder if Frye is healthy.

Bummer at least could be a part off the future....but totally dread 6~7 pitching changes per game with that many lefties in the pen.

Yoan has looked bad in two at bats vs Greene this year. Abreu has two double plays off of him also I believe. How about a homer, single and then double?

Okay, top of the order. One run game.

Still in position to extend or win the game. Anyway you can get on here, Yoan.

Is Avilan's pitch limit 4?

I didn't see/hear that. This is very disappointing managing of late. The team HAD been playing better, there are / were some signs for a nice 2nd half, but this guy keeps doing this nonsense. I am livid he used up Rondon and Avilan to get two hitters and is then stuck with friggin gas can Manaya and his 8.00 ERA... You pitch guys like Minaya in 8-0 games until they EARN the right to comeinto a tie game. Ricky FAIL

amazing, a right handed pitcher got out Martinez from the left hand side, unbelievable!

LOL...no shit

Hard contact, yet another 0-4 game for him.  I would move him out of leadoff spot, as maybe he will be more aggressive

yet another borderline strike call has moncada down in the count yet again...sigh

When a manager blames his long man in the bullpen for not getting out the second best hitter in baseball with an open base in the 7th inning, you have to wonder about the leadership.

Moncada ops has disintegrated to 702 now

That might help. Seems like he is starting to get some better contact lately.

Gross, does this mean he's not making All Star Game?

lol, fire him right now.

Really glad we can't run for Abreu now

Oh, and that we have to hit Thompson

Bravo, Ricky. Bravo.

Take a bow!
