  • The only reason I'm even here is because its my birthday and all I wanted tonight was to watch the Sox and have some beer.

"Too much pitching" :)

What is weird about it was it wasn’t a fluke. Covey was throwing really hard with a lot of movement. They need to have McCatty look at some film. He was the one that turned him around in Charlotte.

1. Why did Ricky challenge? God am I tired of his clueless shit.

2.  I've seen enough of Covey.. he doesn't got it - try someone else.

Moncada struck out on a pitch that was outside the strike zone.

Got a meatball fastball with one strike and took it. Can't be guessing this much

It’s painful to watch Jose bat. All groundouts and it doesn’t look like he can plant his feet

He lost his grip. Replay of the mound meeting and he was telling the infield he couldn’t grip the ball

Yeah not sure why he's playing. Rather give him these last two games off and then DH him this weekend.

Jose no bueno lately...

For month of June

.212 average

.619 Ops

That's gotta be one of his worst months ever.

Love watching Avi right now

Would be so much more concerning if we had extended him. His trade value has to be way down though.

Also only player with worse fWAR than him over last 30 days is Trayce

Anderson swung on 3 pitches outside the strike zone.

i dont think garret had to throw a strike to polka or anderson...

DFAd on the 4th of July...starring Bruce Rondon.

Covey blowing it now. No command at all. Announcer making point that he is sweating badly and can’t wipe his hands so he is losing his grip on the ball . He has given up six runs. He is out of there

He is the same gas can we all knew he was before that little run...

Sorry, but I have officially abandoned the "Dylan Covey is intriguing" ship.

Why did it take so long to deep-six him?

He’s still pitching. I was just making a joke.

Well... that was fun

Pretty funny being in the game thread and not knowing he was just pitching . Guy throws 98 can't just throw that away
