7-6 GT - Sox @ Astros - Lopez vs. McCullers

Featured Replies

Was just a matter of time with Lopez tonight. Had nothing on his pitches....the lack of swing and miss stuff by the staff is incredibly frustrating. When you add in their god awful command, it's not a very pleasant watching experience.

  • Sox looked like a high school team facing a major league team tonight. Score is just now reflecting what a mismatch it was.  Pitch Davidson, he has better stuff than half the pitchers.

More little league stuff from Leury there.  They deserve to get no hit tonight with this abysmal effort.

If thinks keep up like this I think it's 50/50 on if Rickie finishes the season.  There's bad baseball, and then there is this.

Lopez is totally gassed. So freaking tired of seeing awful command from everyone but Shields.  Next time you extend him as much as they did last Sunday, why not push a start back a day?

The White Sox haven’t fired a manager in 15 years. No way they fire Rickey for this team losing. He is probably in over his head, but he isn’t getting fired unless a situation similar to Maddon being available occurs.

Because that would make sense.

And he makes for perfect scapegoat if/when they stink next year.

True, but IMO it should be on the table.

Cancel it

Nice Yoan, seeing ball much better all week

Good rally until the "all star" came up

Moncada's hamstring must still be hurt or something. Thought for sure Ricky would let him steal in the Sanchez AB.

Jose needs to take a week off.

so many easy outs in this line-up.

23 swinging strikes tonight...that might equal the entire amount the Sox starting staff has all season

Damn Stros are flashing the leather.

Bwahaha. Avi.

Little league

Really, Avi and Jose should both be at DH due to their injuries.

Now that was hilarious. Way more comical than Engel's stupidity.

Really don't care about winning.. but man need to see some improvements on defense the rest of the season.

No one watching this game would say Renteria has his guys ready and focused. This crap has been going on for two months now under his watch.

For starters, maybe get Hahn to care about it first.

Santiago's ERA has really jumped.
