Sox @ Mariners 9:10 PM

That at bat by Abreu was encouraging. He saw lots of pitches and got the walk. He had been striking out on off the plate pitches before

  • Ball has always flown off his bat, just couldn't tell because it was on the ground

  • Cause they're not good hitters and have no game plan at all. Against Felix, you have to attack fastball before he uses offspeed stuff.

  • Vogelbach is portly

Forget it.....

Yeah he did a great job of grinding out a solid AB

I was gonna say I wonder if Palka gets benched for that but he's already a DH on the bench.

Why does it seem that Palka has forgotten everything that he ever knew about hitting?

Timmy looks like he is everywhere out there

Covey is doing pretty well

Nice inning by covet. Kept it under 10 pitches

I'm a little disappointed there hasn't been a Brian Anderson reference tonight

Lot of praise for Covey on the Mariner's radio broadcast, although to be fair this is the sort of stuff he's rarely flashed.  Granted all us Sox fans are suprised he even flashes it.

Great defensive game for him thus far

I know rules!

beautiful night here in seattle, was up in the mountains earlier a bit chilly up there but perfect at sea level, glad the sox always come here in middle or late summer, the games in april and may and sometimes june at safeco are usually pretty cold, damp affairs.

I'm probably going to the game tmr if anybody wants to meet up.

Ill just hop on my trusty Airbus and be there... Lol

Covey impressive and I could not explain why Gio is considered a better prospect.

Damn this pazos is funky

Yoan took first pitch strike all four at bats. Not a fan of that approach at all.  Not surprised he looks bad coming out of the break. He totally strikes me as someone who takes a while to get into a rhythm after an extended break.

Great play by Yolmer.

Yep that was nice indeed. He's playing so deep at 3rd, and it's helped him with range but causing lots of long throws.
