I don't think it's out of line to ask for the fans to show their support though. Plus he clearly identified us (the diehards), so I think what he was implying is that he would like to see more of our/this boards love for the team than a casual fan. It would be nice if the Sox had more recognition in the city than they do. It can't possibly help someones mentality to be on a shitty baseball team and also have empty stands.
August 12, 20187 yr Since 2006, the Sox have been in the top 10 in ERA once; top 15 4 times; bottom 15 9 times. It's not a matter of liking/hating. Is the job getting done or not? And how could someone with those results be some untouchable guru?
